[ he reaches out, setting a hand on her back. he knows this is a lot more important to her than what he's been dealing with, and he feels bad for not being able to figure it out for her. or even, at least, help. ]
Maybe it's something that just takes a little time, you know? We are kind of...far from home. Maybe Sarenrae just needs a bit to get through?

[ if nothing else, they at least had this? even if their relationships are a bit different. vax has been working on building something closer to pike, and her connection to sarenrae. he's just...not quite there yet. ]
I'd say we're probably on a different plane. The idea that all of this could be existing on the same plane of existence is....a lot to think about. [ but then he smiles, and pushes his shoulder against her's. ] Not that it'll stop Sarenrae or anything.
